A Foot in the Past, with an Eye on the Future
At Trinity, we blend boldness and expertise into a legacy that transcends time. Our history dates back to 1938 when our beloved patriarch, J. Joe Wessels, embarked on an impressive journey by establishing Wessels Funeral Home in Oakland County, Michigan. A visionary from the outset, Joe laid the foundations for what would become a family tradition of excellence in funeral service.
His son, Leonard W. Wessels, joined this noble cause in 1965, contributing his dedication and profound respect for the families they served. In 1970, he assumed the responsibility of leading the company, taking it to new heights of professionalism and compassion.
In the year 1993, our father, Len Wessels, played a pivotal role in the funeral industry by recognizing a fundamental shift in mortuary science: the growing evolution of the chemicals used. It was then that he realized the urgent need for a safer and more cost-effective working environment for his colleagues, a need we successfully addressed.
The Wessels family tradition is synonymous with quality, dedication, and commitment.
For over 85 years, we have upheld an unwavering standard of excellence that originated in the hands of our grandfather and one that we continue to honor and surpass in every step we take. This enduring 85-year legacy is a solid testament to our dedication and expertise in the funeral field.
Our commitment is to remain the benchmark in the funeral industry, providing services that honor the memory and legacy of your loved ones. At Trinity, we strive each day to exceed your expectations, guided by the vision and integrity that have defined our family for generations.
Trust us to provide the security and understanding you need during those challenging times. The Wessels family's history is a lasting guarantee of quality, and we are here to serve you in your time of need with the empathy and professionalism that characterize us.
